In this article, True North Cannabis Co. examines Sunshine Bubble Kush and its offerings. If you’re looking for a new strain, this one is worth considering.
Brief History of the Sunshine Bubble Kush Strain
Sunshine Bubble Kush first came on the scene in 2022 and was created by FIGR (Canada’s Island Garden Inc.) in Prince Edward Island. It’s a cross between the earthy indica Triangle Kush by Sunshine State and the ’88 G13 Hashplant, a dank hybrid known for its sedative effects.
The strain was intended to be a milder version of the ’88 G13 Hashplant, which can be difficult to smoke for newbies. However, it still packs a potent punch. Triangle Kush, one of its predecessors, is known for its chatty and creative highs. In contrast, the ’88 G13 Hashplant leads to more sedative relaxation.
This new strain combines the best of both worlds, offering a joyful high that transitions nicely into overall bodily sensations. It’s a hybrid that’s perfect for cannabis beginners and experienced smokers alike.

Strain Effects
If you’re looking for something equally meditative and euphoric, this might be the strain for you. With a THC content ranging between 22% to 28% and CBD content of around 0.2%, this is a relatively potent strain that promises a well-rounded high.
The kush’s high is often described as meditative and euphoric, without being overpowering. Each toking session starts with an energetic head high that slowly spreads throughout the body.
The strain is part of FIGR’s Go Steady collection, a line of high-quality strains designed to be balanced. Some users claim that the Sunshine Bubble Kush helps them complete simple tasks like house cleaning or laundry.
After some time, the head high grows into a stronger body sedation. Feelings of joy and empathy for others mark the comedown. This is a great strain to smoke in the late afternoon or evening.
How to Grow Sunshine Bubble Kush
The FIGR Sunshine Bubble Kush strain is relatively new, so there’s not too much information about how to grow it. However, the genetics are hybrid, so it will likely be a medium-to-high maintenance strain. The Sunshine Bubble Kush has an average growth cycle of 12 to 14 weeks.
